DAY 1: CUSCO – CHINCHERO – MORAY – MARAS – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES
7:00 AM – Hotel Pickup
Your Llama Path guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco. We begin our journey through
the Sacred Valley of the Incas, one of the most important regions of the ancient Inca Empire.
Chinchero – The Land of Weavers
Our first stop is Chinchero, a traditional Andean village located at 3,762 m (12,342 ft).
This beautiful town is famous for its colonial church, Inca ruins, and traditional textile centers
where local families continue to preserve ancient weaving techniques passed down through
generations.
You will enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding Andes while learning about local culture and
traditions.
Moray – The Inca Agricultural Laboratory
Next, we visit Moray, one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in Peru.
The site consists of enormous circular terraces built by the Incas. Historians believe Moray
functioned as an agricultural experimentation center where the Incas tested crops under different
microclimates.
Maras Salt Mines
Continue to the famous Salt Mines of Maras.
More than 3,000 individual salt pools cascade down the mountainside, creating one of the most
spectacular landscapes in the Sacred Valley.
Local families have harvested salt here for centuries using techniques that predate the Inca
civilization.

Ollantaytambo – The Last Living Inca Town
In the afternoon, visit Ollantaytambo, one of the most important and best-preserved Inca towns in
Peru.
Explore the impressive fortress, ceremonial temples, agricultural terraces, and original Inca streets
that remain in use today.
Your guide will explain the historical significance of Ollantaytambo and its role during the Spanish
conquest.
Train to Aguas Calientes
Following your visit, board the train to Aguas Calientes.
Relax and enjoy breathtaking views as the train follows the Urubamba River through dramatic
mountain scenery.
Overnight in Aguas Calientes
Upon arrival, our representative will meet you and escort you to your comfortable 3-star hotel.
The evening is free for you to explore Machu Picchu Town, visit local restaurants, or simply relax
before your visit to Machu Picchu.

DAY 2: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
Early Breakfast at Hotel
Start your day with an early breakfast at your hotel in Aguas Calientes. Your guide will provide final
instructions before heading up to Machu Picchu.
Bus to Machu Picchu Citadel
You will take the shuttle bus from Aguas Calientes up to the entrance of Machu Picchu
(approximately 25 minutes). The journey offers spectacular views of the surrounding cloud forest
and the Urubamba River valley.
Guided Tour of Machu Picchu
Upon arrival at Machu Picchu, you will begin your professional guided tour with a Llama Path
expert guide.

Peruvian Ministry of Culture at the time of ticket issuance. Circuits are subject to availability and
regulations, and may vary depending on the date and time of your booking

Return to Aguas Calientes
Bus back to Aguas Calientes.
Train Back to Ollantaytambo : Board your return train and enjoy the final views of the Andes.
Transportation to Cusco : Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, our transportation will be waiting to
transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco.
